Privacy
Short version: we keep what you give us, we use it to make your report, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
What you type into a form on this site: your business name, your website and your email address, plus your name, a phone number and the times that suit you if you book a call. What you tell us by email, or in a message on our phone line. And what is public about your business on the web, which is what we check. We do not run advertising trackers here, and our emails carry no tracking pixel, so we cannot tell whether you opened one.
What we do with it
We use it to run your report and to send it to you, and to write to you about it afterwards. We store it in our own database, which sits behind a login only we have.
Who else sees it
The companies that run our plumbing, and only to the extent they have to: our database and email hosts, our payment processor if you buy something, and the companies behind the AIs on our panel. The questions we put to them are about a business in a city. We do not hand your email address to any of them.
We do not sell your information, and we do not sell your report.
How long we keep it
Your reports and the answers behind them, for as long as you are a customer and three years after, so a trend stays a trend. If you ask us to delete everything, we do, except the one thing we must keep: if you asked us never to write to you again, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list forever. That list exists so we cannot write to you by accident later. It is used for nothing else.
Getting rid of it
Email hello@getrecommendable.com and say what you want. To stop email alone, use the opt-out page. We honor it within 10 business days, and usually the same day.
